Tammy is a credit to Vet HQ. She acts in a highly professional and thorough manner while at the same time is gentle and caring to the pets in her care. She is also very personable and has a sense of humour which is so important in dealing with people. Tammy has followed up twice by phone to check on Jemma’s progress and when she says she will call at 7.30am to check – she means 7.30am on the dot!
I was also impressed that Tammy was open in telling me that she would check with you about a proposed change to Jemma’s diet as part of her ongoing treatment. Being prepared to acknowledge that you sometimes want to check and obtain advice from a more senior practitioner is a skill in itself. Sometimes younger practitioners think that to seek advice shows a weakness – but from experience I think it is a strength and shows a willingness to learn, improve and provide the best service possible.
