Our little girl ‘Olive Penelope Barnett-Hume’ has left a huge hole in our hearts leaving us so very early in her life. She was a cheeky, active, fun-loving, who was adventurous and could be completely sooky at times, when she needed a cuddle. She loved her play-dates with her doggie friends, big or small, had a love of stealing her mum’s socks, and wanting to be close to the ones she loved. She will miss her daily runs at Centennial Park/Rushcutters Bay or Rose Bay beach were there was many a stick to chew or dogs to rumble with. There was many adventures with Olive so we took her on one of many where she travelled in a campervan and felt the need to sit in the ‘co-pilots’ seat assisting with directions…
We want to thank Geoff and the VetHQ team for their love and support over the last few years attending to her health needs and the girls at doggie day care, (we loved her photographs) to her final moments in this world. We appreciate that Tessa was with Olive throughout the day when she was taken ill and remained with her towards the end, this gives us some comfort that she was not alone. We are truly grateful to have had the time with our beautiful little girl, who we adored everyday… she will be dearly missed (never forgotten) by her family and others she met on her life journey.
When the time comes, we shall meet again where we will cross the ‘Rainbow Bridge’ together. Till that time, rest in peace little one
