What is cat boarding?
Cat boarding offers a safe and comfortable environment for your cat to stay while you’re away. They receive daily feeding, enrichment, monitoring, and gentle care from trained staff, so you know they’re relaxed, supported, and never left without help if needed.
Do you offer cat boarding at both Vet HQ clinics?
Our main cat boarding facility is located at Vet HQ Double Bay; however, bookings can be arranged through either our Darlinghurst or Double Bay reception teams.
Can I bring my cat's favourite food or blanket?
Absolutely. Familiar scents help cats settle faster, and we’re more than happy to feed special diets or accommodate their preferences.
Will my cat get playtime or enrichment?
Yes. Our team offers cuddles, gentle brushing, toys and supervised roaming time in the boarding area when your cat’s comfortable enough to explore.
Can you give medication during my cat's stay?
Yes. Our nurses administer tablets, topical treatments, or injections exactly as directed by your veterinarian, ensuring no missed doses.
Is the boarding area noisy?
Not at all. The cat suites are entirely separate from the dog suites and designed to be quiet, calm, and unequivocally feline-friendly.
