At Vet HQ we believe great pet care goes beyond treating illness. Our focus is on supporting pets through every stage of life. Our new rehabilitation service is designed to help animals recover, stay mobile, and live comfortably for longer. Vet directed and facilitated by our highly skilled rehab team, tailored programs may include hydrotherapy, laser therapy, acupuncture, exercise and conditioning plans, pain management strategies, mobility support and lifestyle and nutrition advice.
Whilst beneficial at all life stages, rehabilitation can be especially valuable for senior pets, those living with chronic conditions, or patients recovering from surgery. By combining clinical expertise with a holistic, whole-pet approach, we focus not only on physical recovery but also on confidence, comfort, and quality of life. Whether it’s a gentle exercise plan or ongoing palliative support, our goal is to help every pet thrive with comfort and independence.

Meet Geoff, Jess, and the rest of the Vet HQ team as we discuss pet care tips and behind-the-scenes insights from our Darlinghurst and Double Bay clinics.
We have been bringing our pets to Vet Hq in Darlinghurst for almost a decade because, simply, they are the best! Dr Jess Green treats all her patients with thoroughness, compassion and true care. The entire nursing team are also spectacular and we will not be taking our pets anywhere else as long as Vet Hq is around.
The team at Vet HQ Darlinghurst are amazing! Everyone is so friendly and caring, and they really take the time to make sure your pet feels comfortable. The vets explain things clearly and you can tell they truly love animals. The clinic is clean and welcoming, and I always feel my pet is in the best hands.
Best Vet Clinic! Oh My Gosh, I owe these guys everything, if it wasn’t for this clinic, I wouldn’t have my WylieCat anymore.
My cat fell out a window, 6 storeys down to concrete, & although he didn’t break bones, he broke his insides, especially his liver. The dedication of care…
Thank you to Jess and the team for looking after our Winnie. Always take extra care and attention. Jess truely listens and takes consideration. Appreciate it.
We had a seriously wonderful experience here. The team is so friendly, thorough in their explanations for their care, and knowledgeable. I so appreciate a doctor taking the time to educate me as an owner; there’s no better feeling than being an informed decision maker and owner. Our golden retriever, Leo, had the best care…
I have had dogs from the day I was born. I’ve lost track of the number of veterinarian practices I have dealt with . Vet HQ Double Bay is the best practice ever. Full stop. Yes. We can often see urgent cases on the same day at either our Darlinghurst or Double Bay clinic. If the situation is critical, call us right away and our team will advise the safest next step and prepare for your arrival.
We combine warm, relationship-based care with advanced diagnostics, gold-standard cat facilities and a Fear Free approach. Many of our vets and nurses have been with us for years, providing genuine continuity and a familiar, trusted team for your pet.
Absolutely. Many families travel to us from Surry Hills, Paddington, Bondi, Woollahra and across the Eastern Suburbs because they value consistent care and our wide range of services under one roof.
You’ll meet a friendly team who takes time to listen, understand your concerns and get to know your pet’s personality. We explain everything clearly, discuss options and create a plan that suits your pet’s health and your family’s routine.
You can book online or call our Darlinghurst or Double Bay clinic. It helps to have your pet’s name, species, age, any current medications, and a brief summary of what you’ve noticed. If you have recent test results or notes from another vet, bring them along so we can get up to speed quickly.
