COVID-19 Update 04.01.2021

COVID-19 PANDEMIC – NSW Outbreak
WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!
As we move into another period of uncertainty, we want to guarantee you that we are not going anywhere. We want to ensure a continuity of service for you and your pets.
Vet HQ cares about the wellbeing of our staff, clients and pets. We naturally maintain very high standards of cleanliness and disinfection in out hospital but there is no room for complacency.
We want to reassure you that we:
• Not stopped cleaning/disinfecting/ sanitising (gold standard hygiene)
• Ask all clients to sanitise hands on arrival and NOW WEAR MASKS.
• Our Staff are all wearing masks
• Have implemented a mandatory testing policy should any staff member feel unwell with Covid 19 or has been to or near a declared hotspot. As soon as they or any of their family shows signs of disease they are placed on sick leave pending a negative result.
WE ASK YOU AGAIN TO PLEASE HELP US STOP THE SPREAD BY FOLLOWING THE RULES BELOW AND NOT ENTERING THE HOSPITAL IF YOU ARE UNWELL.
Appointment process:
• Enter through the front door only
• ONE person per pet.
• Please wear a mask. If you don’t have a mask one will be provided.
• Consult continues as normal (with as much love and treats as normal), however we ask you to remain outside the room with the door open or communicate via the ‘peep hole’.
• While you remain outside please adhere to the 1 person per 4 square metres.
• Please note we are still doing house calls and we are conducting video calls if you prefer.
Chronic Medications and food:
Please phone ahead to order medications and food and pay over the phone where possible. We will have the medication ready for you on arrival and we can bring it to your vehicle if required.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding on the above. Again, It is time for all of us to be mindful of the risk we pose to others, not just the risk that others may pose to us.
Yours,
The Vet HQ team
